A new location, a new line, or a big hire. Before you commit, it helps to see what the business can carry and what happens if the ramp takes longer.
Someone wants a number. A defensible value starts with clean earnings and a method that holds up when it gets pushed on.
Succession takes longer than most owners expect. The records, the leaders, and the tax picture all need to be ready before ownership changes.
An illustrative example
An owner has a strong year and wants to open a second location. The lease is ready. The question is whether the business can carry it.
Before signing, the owner tests a few assumptions. How much cash does the build-out take, and how long until the new site covers its own costs? What does the lender expect for debt coverage? If the ramp runs six months longer than planned, does the first location still have room to breathe?
The answers do not make the decision. They show which risks the owner is choosing, and what has to be true for the move to work.
This example is illustrative. It is not a client story, and every engagement is scoped to its own facts.
What the work produces
The work product depends on the engagement. It might be a forecast, a valuation report, a transition roadmap, or a buy-sell review. Not every owner needs all of them. We agree on the deliverable before the work starts, so you know what you are getting and why.

Start with the decision, not the service. Tell us what you are weighing and when it needs to happen. We will suggest where to begin. Often it is one piece of work, like a forecast or a valuation, and the rest follows only if it is needed.
Yes. Many owners already have an attorney, a banker, or a CPA they trust. We coordinate with them and stay in our lane. For example, your attorney drafts legal documents, and we handle the financial side.
Bring the decision and the timeline. Recent financial statements help if you have them. Please do not send tax returns or account details through the website. If we work together, we will request documents through our secure process.
